One cautionary remark: some of the exercises are way off and a few 2-line proofs have an extra page to them (I asked Bob what he meant there and he confessed that he no longer remembered; a continued fraction exercise from an early chapter seemed disconnected from the text, but the solution he gave me, frankly, I wouldn't have accepted from a student.).
